After a far-reaching renovation lasting a year and a half, Hotel Des Indes opened again for business in October 2005. The hotel (built in 1881) underwent a complete metamorphosis but kept its characteristic charm and grandeur. Besides the renovation, two floors and a ‘health club’ were added to the hotel, and the interior was thoroughly restyled.

- Still vital to the image of The Hague.
